Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of the SYNERGY app provided by MEDIDERMDG (trading as SYNERGY).
Last updated: 01/09/2026
1. Who can use the app
The app is only for current patients of the clinic. You need the mobile number, name and date of
birth we already hold for you in order to sign in.
The app is only made available to patients aged 18 and over.
2. What the app is for
The app answers practical and procedural questions about a procedure you are having or have had at
the clinic: preparation, what happens, aftercare, timings and common questions.
3. What the app is not
The app:
- does not provide medical or clinical advice
- does not diagnose, and does not interpret test or biopsy results
- does not advise on medication
- is not a medical device
- is not a substitute for contacting the clinic, your GP, 111 or 999
- is not monitored continuously, and must not be used to report an urgent problem
Messages you send can be reviewed by clinic staff
Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, excluding bank holidays.
Outside these hours, no messages are reviewed.
If you notice spreading redness, pus or a fever, call 111. If you feel very unwell, call 999.
4. Your responsibilities
When you use the app, you agree to:
- keep your phone and your sign-in details secure, and not share your account with anyone else
- tell the clinic if your mobile number, name or other contact details change, so that the record we
hold for you stays accurate
- use the app only in connection with your own care
- contact the clinic, 111 or 999 directly — not the app — if you have an urgent problem
5. Availability
We provide the app as part of your care, but we do not guarantee that it will be available at all
times. It may be unavailable during maintenance, because of a fault, or for reasons outside our
control, and we may change or withdraw it.
If the app is unavailable, contact the clinic in the usual way — by phone on 07912382980 or by
email at synergy.help.queries@gmail.com.
6. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our
negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Your legal
rights as a consumer are not affected.
The app provides general practical information about your procedure. It is not a substitute for
clinical judgement, and it is not a way of reporting an urgent problem. Decisions about your
treatment are made by clinicians, not by the app.
7. Your information
How we use your information is set out in our Privacy Policy. To close your account, see
8. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. Where a change is
significant, we will also tell you in the app, and the change takes effect when you next sign in
after being shown the new wording.
9. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales
have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
